Close Reading Response Exam 30%

  • 90 minute and 10 minute planning

  • open-book exam

  • 650 words

  • Will be about The Agonist and Heat and Light

  • One word will be provided to guide your argument

Research Essay 35%

  • Comparative Essay

  • 1650 words

  • choose 2 books from weeks 6-9

  • MLA 9th Format

Creative Writing Response

  • 500 word creative response to ‘Foster’ (Rewriting or altering a section of the book)

  • 200 word exegesis
