  • Kinetic —> Mechanical —> Electrical

  • Advantage: Low operating cost

  • Disadvantage: Potential impact on wildlife

Tidal Power:

  • Converts the energy of tides into electricity using turbines that spin a generator

  • Potential Gravitational —> Kinetic —> Electrical

  • Advantage: Once built it is cost efficient

  • Disadvantage: Expensive to build
