Microscope

Responsible for magnifying the image of specimen - eyepiece and objectives

magnification of drawing - how big is your drawing (base on length) compared to actual specimen.

Movement of pecimen under the microscope - opposite direction

More specimen is seen under the objective - least magnification

shifting objectives from scanner to HPO - the field of view close towards the center; therefore decreasing the field of vision.

Magnification solution - %%Mt = 10 X 10 = 100X%%

Total magnification of scanner - 10x X 4x = 40x

Total magnification of LPO - 10x X 10x = 100x

Toatl Magnification of HPO - 10x X 40x = 400x

Field of vision - the circular lighted field where you see the image of the specimen; which means the area

Diameter formula - A =  πr²

Radius - (r)-½of diameter (mm)

Carrying the microscope - carry with both hands in the arms and the base at abdominal level

As the magnification increases, the field of vision decreases
