Black/Red = hot wire
White/Grey = neutral wire
Copper/Green = ground wire
Tools used
Stripper
Screwdriver
Linesman pliers
Screw Drill
Outlet: Hot, Ground, Neutral
Switch: Hot, Hot, Ground
Screw 3 conduit boxes down
Cut main wire and strip both ends (abt 6 inchs)
Insert 6 inch of bare wire into power box and screw down
Pull other end of bare wire through conduit 1
Take another piece of main wire through conduit 1 to conduit 2. Repeat from 2 to 3
For Conduit 1:
Take bare spare wire and fold in (U shaped) to box.
Take matching wires (black on black, white on white, copper on copper), line up and cut to make equal, strip, then twist and cover with wire nut
Fold wire nuts into box
Take the bare wires left out, make a small hook, and connect to outlet
For Conduit 2:
Take copper spare wire and fold in (U shaped) to box
Take the matching wire, line up and cut to make equal, strip, then twist and cover with wire nut
Take neutral wires, line up and cut to make equal, strip, then twist and cover with wire nut
Take hot wires and strip
Fold wire nuts into box
Take the bare wires left out, make a small hook, and connect to switch
For Conduit 3:
Twist hot and neutral lighting wires to their matching ones
Fold ground into box
Connect lightbulb
For Power Box:
Strip edges of wire
Place neutral wire in first opening box to the left. Screw down
Place ground wire in middle opening box to the left. Screw down
Place hot wire in circuit breaker (hole under screw). Screw down
Plug in cord
