First-Person Pronouns
Saya – I / Me (formal, neutral)
Saya suka membaca buku. (I like reading books.)
Aku – I / Me (informal, used with close friends or family)
Aku akan datang nanti. (I will come later.)
Kami – We / Us (exclusive, excluding the listener)
Kami pergi ke pasar. (We are going to the market.)
Kita – We / Us (inclusive, including the listener)
Kita akan makan bersama. (We will eat together.)
Second-Person Pronouns
Anda – You (formal, polite)
Anda tinggal di mana? (Where do you live?)
Awak – You (neutral, informal)
Awak mahu makan apa? (What do you want to eat?)
Engkau / Kau – You (informal, often used among close friends or family)
Engkau boleh buat sendiri. (You can do it yourself.)
Kalian – You all (plural, used in informal settings)
Kalian semua dijemput. (You all are invited.)
Third-Person Pronouns
Dia – He / She (informal, general)
Dia suka menonton filem. (He/She likes watching movies.)
Beliau – He / She (formal, respectful, often used for elders or authority figures)
Beliau akan berucap nanti. (He/She will give a speech later.)
Mereka – They / Them (general)
Mereka tinggal di kampung. (They live in the village.)
Possessive Pronouns
-ku – My / Mine (informal, added to the noun)
Buku ini milikku. (This book is mine.)
-mu – Your / Yours (informal, added to the noun)
Rumahmu besar. (Your house is big.)
-nya – His / Her / Their (neutral, added to the noun)
Kucingnya comel. (His/Her cat is cute.)
Reflexive Pronouns
Diri saya – Myself (formal, neutral)
Saya buat kerja ini sendiri. (I did this work myself.)
Diri kamu – Yourself (informal, neutral)

Diri sendiri – Oneself (general, neutral)
