Galvanic Current

Galvanic Current is a constant and direct current (travels in one direction only), having a positive and negative pole, and is produced by chemical means (meaning that the electricity is generated by a chemical reaction)

The galvanic current is named after Luigi Galvani. He was an Italian physician, physicist, biologist and philosopher. (1737-1798)

What is used for: Galvanic current is used to infuse water-soluble products into unbroken skin (the scientific term for this is: phoresis.

Or also can be used to prepare the skin extractions.

The galvanic machine converts: the alternating current received from an electrical outlet (from the wall) into a direct current. This allows the electrons to flow continuously in the same direction. This also creates a relaxation response that can’t be adjusted or controlled to more specific nerve endings in epidermis (upper layer of the skin).

With the Galvanic Current, two chemical reactions are possible depending on the polarity you are using and what the goal is for the skin.
