Galvanic Current

The Galvanic Current is a constant and direct current (travels in one direction only) and is produced by chemical means (meaning that the electricity is generated by a chemical reaction)

This current also has positive and negative pole that makes chemical changes when it passes through the tissues and fluids of the body.

When using the Galvanic Current, two chemical reactions are possible depending on the polarity (posterior or negative) is used.

LUIGI GALVANI

The galvanic current is named after Luigi Galvani. He was an Italian physician, physicist, biologist and philosopher.
