  • Convergent Thinking: Thinking process in which a problem is seen as having only one answer, and all lines of thinking lead to that single answer using logical steps and previous knowledge.

  • Divergent Thinking: Creative process where a person starts from one point and generates many different ideas or possibilities.

  • Methods for Stimulating Divergent Thinking:

    • Brainstorming: Generating as many ideas as possible in a short period without judging each idea's merits until all ideas are recorded.
