There are 3 groups of verbs in Spanish:
Verbs that end in -ar, like hablar.
Verbs that end in -er, like comer.
Verbs that end in -ir, like vivir.
These basic ending forms are called infinitives.
Conjugating is the process of changing the ending of the verb to match the subject of the sentence. This allows proper agreement in tense, number, and person.
