At the venule end of blood capillary, blood plasma is hypertonic to the tissue fluid.

Reabsorption of water, mineral salts and waste takes place in the venule capillary.

85% of the fluid that leaves the arteriole end diffuses back into the venule end.

The remaining 15% diffuses into the lymphatic capillaries which are one cell thick.
