General Orders

  1. I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.
  2. I will obey my special orders and perform all my duties in a military manner.

Uniform and Appearance Rules

    • Soldiers may not possess cell phones in Vincent Hall School.
  • APFU Articles with Civilians:
    • Cannot wear articles from the APFU with civilians except in fitness centers and when DXing.
  • Proper Uniform for Lights Out:
    • Summer APFU.
  • 15th Signal Brigade Boundaries:
    • 25th, 8th Avenue, Brainard Avenue, and Kilbourne Street.
  • Marrying Other Trainees:
    • Not allowed to marry another trainee in C Company or another company while in AIT.
  • Water Source Authorization:
    • Authorized only for Phase VI+ Soldiers to have civilian or military water sources.
  • TV Size Restriction:
    • Televisions and monitors must be 24 inches or smaller for barracks room.
  • Social Media Friend Policies:
    • Cannot “friend” cadre or MOS-Ts on social media during training; must wait until 6 months after graduation and PCSing from Fort Gordon.

Formation and Conduct Regulations

  • Marching in Formation:
    • Must march in formation when there are three or more MOS-I students moving in uniform.
  • Alcohol Policy:
    • MOS-I Soldiers are never authorized to use, possess, or purchase alcohol; no exceptions.
  • Romantic Relationships:
    • Not permitted to “date” or have a “romantic relationship” with a fellow MOS-I soldier.
    • All relationships listed fall under prohibited or inappropriate relationships.
  • Phase V Soldier Eligibility:
    • Eligible to phase up after entering AIT after 3 weeks.

Phase V Specifics

  • Uniform Requirements:
    • Phase badge, CAC, Camelback or canteen, and OCPS.

  • Mustache Policy:
    • Only MOS-Qs are authorized to wear a mustache.
  • Reassessment for Phased Down Soldiers:
    • Soldiers who are phased down for 7 days or more must reassess for each phase lost, completing all required evaluations.
  • Phasing Down for Misconduct:
    • Soldiers pending administrative separation for misconduct will be phased down after speaking to the commander.
  • Family Visits under LPA:
    • Family members/spouses/children are allowed entry only after the member has signed their troop ticket.
  • UCMJ Applicability:
    • Policy Letter #15 is punitive or punishable under UCMJ.
  • Gym Utilization:
    • Phase V soldiers are never allowed to utilize the gym.
  • Barton Field Restrictions:
    • Prohibited when it is dark unless accompanied by a cadre member.
  • Water Source Usage:
    • Soldiers are only allowed to utilize camelbak while in APFU.
