- Women were excited and proud when the 19th amendment was passed because now they were able to vote. This was a huge step toward equality of women and finally gave them a voice when it comes to government.Would you have preferred to have lived in rural or urban Texas in the early 1900's?
- I would prefer to live in an urban area because there would be more jobs available, more schools, and other opportunities in life. The rural areas were much more quiet and didn't have as many things available to people. Cities gave people more of a chance to live accessibly.
