BIM Proficiency Training – Graduate Employability Intervention Fund
Program Overview
BIM Proficiency Training (Building & Services) under the Graduate Employability Intervention Fund (GEIF).
Fully sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT); cost per participant (covers fees, certification, meals, accommodation).
Provider & trainers: UTM BIM Research Group (BIM RG) + UTM Career Centre; CIDB-accredited lab (MKUB, Block B11 FABU).
Cohort size: up to participants (waiting list may expand numbers).
Period: 24 Feb → 10 Mar 2025 (mid-semester break); total consecutive training days.
Objectives
Increase graduates’ added value through industry-recognised BIM certifications.
Support MOHE target: graduate employability rate .
Assist final-year students / fresh grads (≤ months) with CGPA to secure relevant jobs.

Software: Autodesk Revit (provided on lab PCs; personal laptop optional).
Daily Schedule (Typical)
Training: (may extend slightly for practical work).
Meals: breakfast , lunch (replaced by iftar during Ramadan), afternoon tea .
Includes weekends/ public holidays within program window.
Logistics
Venue: MKUB Computer Lab, Block B11 FABU (scan QR in slides for map).
Accommodation: On-campus college rooms arranged; accept or decline for the entire period via upcoming form.
Transport: self-arranged; proximity to FABU recommended.
Dress code: normal class attire (decent; no shorts/miniskirts).
Participant Obligations
Attend all sessions punctually and complete practical work.
Pass the three online competency assessments to receive certificates.
Fulfil KPI: obtain employment (or postgraduate admission) after graduation.
Submit: job offer letter or admission letter + SKPG 1.0 & 2.0 slips.
Complete MOHE employment surveys:
SKPG 1.0 — within months post-graduation, before convocation.
SKPG 2.0 — update anytime when employment status changes.
Respond to follow-up from organisers (employment tracking).

Attendance Confirmation – already circulated; inform if withdrawing so place can be reassigned.
Meal & Accommodation Form – opens after participant list finalised (next week); indicate stay/meal preferences.
