• Ambulation: Walking or moving.

• Ankylosis: Joint stiffness.

• Atony: Lack of muscle tone.

• Atrophy: Tissue wasting.

• Body Alignment: Correct body positioning.

• Contracture: Muscle shortening.

• Contraindicated: Not recommended.

• Decubitus Ulcer: Skin injury.

• Embolus: Blood clot.

• Foot Drop: Front foot difficulty.

• Gait Belt: Transfer aid.

• Immobility: Inability to move.

• Necrotic: Dead tissue.

• Posture: Body position.

• Thrombus: Blood clot.

• Traction: Pulling force application.

• Trochanter Roll: Hip support.

• AAROM: Active Assistive ROM.

• ABD: Abduction.

• Amb: Ambulate.

• BR: Bathroom.

• BRP: Bathroom privileges.

• CPM: Continuous Passive Motion.
