• Categorizing people into a group, regardless of individual differences

There are gender,race,sexual,social and class stereotypes.

Prejudice

Making judgements about people before you really get to know them

Prejudice is based on stereotypes and generalizations we have about other people, it can lead to unfair discrimination against people.

Examples

People with white names are more likely to get hired than those with non white names.

Discrimination can be like making derogatory comments about someone based on their race
