Persian Alphabet

The Persian alphabet is a writing system used for the Persian language, primarily in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. It is a variant of the Arabic script and consists of 32 letters. The Persian alphabet includes the following letters:

Some letters have different forms depending on their position within a word: initial, medial, final, or isolated. The script is written from right to left.
