  1. First Level- Macrosociology- focuses on social classes and relationships

  2. Second Level- Microsociology- focuses on social interaction

  1. Culture- language, beliefs, values, behavior, gestures

  2. Social Class- rank close in property, power, prestige

  3. Social Status- position someone occupies in a social group

  4. Roles- behaviors, obligations, and privileges attached to status

  5. Group- people who interact with one another and believe they have something in common

Role Performance- showing a particular personality or style

Role Conflict- conflicts that someone feels between roles

Sign Vehicles- using social setting, appearance, and manner to communicate self

Teamwork- collaboration between two or more people
