Protruding Objects

• Objects must not protrude more than $4$ inches when they are between $27$ and $80$ inches above the floor level.

Accessible Routes

• Accessible routes must have a clear width of $36$ inches.

Ramps

• The rise of any ramp shall not exceed $30$ inches.

Elevator Keypad

• An elevator keypad should be patterned like a telephone keypad.

Parking Spaces

• Parking spaces must be at least $96$ inches wide.

Accessible Parking Area Slope

• The area around an accessible parking space must not slope greater than one in $12$.

Water Closets

• Water closets must be roughed in between $16$ and $18$ inches from the side wall.

Accessible Toilet Centerline

• An accessible toilet centerline should be at least $18$ inches from the sidewall.

Grab Bars

• Grab bars must carry a load of $250$ pounds.

Grab Bar Height

• An accessible grab bar in a toilet room shall be between $33$ and $36$ inches above the floor.

Wheelchair Turning Space

• Wheelchair turning spaces must be a minimum of $60$ inches by $60$ inches or have a $60$ inches diameter.

Handicap Accessible Parking Spaces

• Three handicap accessible parking spaces are required for a parking lot with a total of $60$ spaces.
