1935: Nuremberg Laws Jews of citizenship

• loss of political rights and bans on intermarriage (cannot marry other cultures) and increased segregation (separating cultures).

1938: Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass)

• State sanctioned (official permission to), destruction of thousands of Jewish businesses synagogues. (building where Jewish people assembled.

• Over 30 000 jewish men sent to concentration camps.
