o  Glide sign = bright white line = visceral + parietal pleura – if not present then something pushing pleura apart (e.g. blood, pus, chyle)

o  A-line = when wave passes interstitium ® air

·    Backwards tick

TFAST

·    Looking for PCE, La:Ao, RA:LA, RV:LV

·    5 views:

o  Diaphragmatic-hepatic

o  Left and right pericardial site

o  Left and right chest tube site

AFAST

·    Four views:

o  Diaphragmatic-hepatic

o  Spleno-renal

o  Cysto-colic

o  Hepato-renal-umbilical

·    Looking for fluid, gall bladder halo
