Rhetorical Analysis is the art of analyzing choices a writer makes in a given situation, so that the text can be meaningful and effective

Speaker; who the author of the text is influences its menaing/background of the text; when you analyze the spaekrr you dont want to stop at thier name ; what do theybring to the table
Purpose; Why did the author make the book and or speach? Look carefull at thesis, actions, claims, or infrences that they make
Audeince; Who is the wrtiter talking to? Text is aimed at a specific gorup of people, all while adapting to the audience, sometimes speaker adjusts to multiple audeinces at once.
Context; What is going on in the world when this is produced? What were the biggest issues in the world or in the writers mind
Exigence; what motivated them to write this speech and or book
Choice; this is a deliiberate action that the writer makes to fulfil thier purpose.
it includes syntax strucure which influences focus, builds tension, establishes mood and atmosphere
Appeals; Ethos, Patho, Logos
Ethos; Charachter, credability, connection
If the audience like you they are more liekley to trust you,
