  • Pitching and hitting is a lot like the open sea because the pitcher/hitter are playing thegame on chance relying on rituals, while the open field is more like the inner lagoonbecause there is little chance so they rely on their skills to catch the ball.

  • You usually know that the dead have come and sampled the ofrendas on the altar because the smell and taste disappear. Some other proof of their arrival will be odd noises, the barking of dogs, and a piece of fruit falling off the altar.
