- Significant components:
- Budgetary comparison reporting

- Pension information
Budgetary Comparison Reporting
- Required for general fund and major special revenue funds with an adopted annual budget
- Must show:
- Original budget
- Final amended budget
- Actual amounts
- Optionally show variances between budget and actual, and differences between original and final amended budgets
- Can use GAAP or budgetary formats; requires reconciliation to GAAP
- Disclose excess of expenditures over appropriations in notes
Infrastructure Information
- Modified approach assumes significant disclosures:
- Assessed condition of infrastructure
- Estimated annual maintenance costs for the past five years
- Additional disclosures include:
- Basis for condition measurement
- Planned condition maintenance level
Pension Information
- Present information for each of the 10 most recent fiscal years:
- Sources of change in net pension liability (NPL)
- Fiduciary net position (FNP) as a % of total pension liability (TPL)
- NPL as a % of covered-employee payroll
- Actuarially determined contributions and contributions amount
- Disclose methods and assumptions for determining contributions
- Annual money-weighted rate of return on investments for the past 10 years
- Explanation of trends in reported amounts, including changes in benefit terms and assumptions

- Combining statements for nonmajor funds
