Ethics - involves principles that specify what is good and bad. They also clarify what should and should not be done

Values - involve what you consider important and what you do not. They concern what is considered having worth and what is not and also making judgment/decisions about relative worth

Ethical Dilemmas - problematic situations whose possible solutions all offer imperfect and unsatisfactory answers

6 Core Values

1. Service - social workers should provide help, resources, and benefits so that people can achieve their maximum potential. Workers should place effective service provision above their own convenience and advantage. They should also take opportunities to volunteer their services when possible and appropriate
