ru and mas are interchangeable and ru is casual, mas is polite
Conjunctions
と = with. Separately と can also mean and, I like apple と banana
を it marks the thing that gets affected by the verb. Structure is noun を verb
に = at, commonly used with a location. Where do you live, where do you want to go?
は = topic marking article that indicates subject of the sentence. conjunction that joins the subject. Is about what it is in front of. Examples:
Sharon は Sydney に すんでいる (Sharon lives in Melbourne)
watashi は Melbourne に すんでいる (Sharon lives in Melbourne)
