The image we have of ourselves. It is influenced by many forces, including our interaction with important people in our lives.

It refers to your awareness of yourself. It is the construct that negotiates these two selves.

Actual Self

It refers to how you see yourself at this moment in time

Ideal Self

It refers to what you want to be.
