Use affirmative tú commands to tell people to do something

How to form them!

1. Tú form of present tense

2. Drop the s

3. If the verb is reflexive, add a te to the end of the command (Ejemplo: báñate)

Ejemplos-

Hablar - to speak

• Step 1 —————→ Hablar

• Step 2 —————-→ Hablas

• Step 3——————> Habla

Comer - to eat

• Step 1 —————→ Comer

• Step 2 —————→ Comes

• Step 3 —————→ Come

Escribir - to write

• Step 1 —————→ Escribir

• Step 2 —————→ Escribes

• Step 3 —————→ Escribe

Bañarse - to take a bath

• Step 1 —————→ Te bañarse

• Step 2 —————→ Te bañas

• Step 3 —————→ Te báñate

¿Cómo se dice?

1. Speak Spanish! = ¡Habla Español!

2. Get Up! = ¡Levantate!

Affirmative tú command (irregulares)

• venir = ven (to come)

• tener = ten (to have)

• poner = pon (to put)

• decir = di (to say/tell)

• ser = sé (to be)

• ir = ve (to go)

• hacer = haz (to do/make)

• salir = sal (to leave/go out)
