IMPRESS
Impress is a software package used to create multimedia presentations and display information in the form of a slide show. It has three major functions: and editor that allows text to be inserted and formatted., a method for inserting and manipulating graphic images, and a side-show system to display the content.
Click Create to open the main Impress windows.
Slides – are single page of presentation where all objectives and information are displayed when played.
Slideshow- is a presentation of a series of still images on a projection screen or electronic display device, typically in a prearranged sequence.
Custom Animation- use to animate pictures, graphics and charts and all other objects added into a slide.
Slide Transition- motion effects that occur in slideshow view when you move from one slide to the next slide during a presentation.
As you right click the slide, it provides you functions such as:
New Slide- allows you to add another empty slide.
Duplicate slide- allows you to add another slide, same as what you have selected.
Rename slide- Changing the name of your slide.
Hide slide- use to visually present for editing but hidden during the slideshow.
Delete slide-use to remove slide.
