free range: birds are to roam free in large barns and outside for at least part of the day

barn eggs: birds that are able to roam free in barns

cage eggs: birds are kept in cages with slanted floors that allow the eggs to drop onto conveyer belts

organic eggs: birds are feed special organic feed not treated with chemicals pesticides or hormones
