Jnana or Dhyana Mudra
- Also known as the gesture of consciousness and knowledge.
- Modifies the pranic flow in the fingers.
- Normally, prana flows out of the fingers, but this mudra redirects some of that flow.
- Involves joining the thumb and forefinger to form a circular loop.
- Redirects energy inwards, calming the mind.
- Facilitates longer meditation by reducing distractions.
- Technique:
- Join the tips of the index finger and thumb.
- Press them lightly together.
- Straighten the other three fingers gently.
- Keep the palms relaxed.
