Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) - a mix of government and private

• taxes were raised on some wealthy people

• people with low income who got Obama Care had to pay for it

  • not the full amount tho

• Subsidized healthcare

• At first there was a final penalty for not having Obama Care

If the government pays for everything then the government controls everything and people want control over their healthcare treatment

Most people have their health insurance through their job so unemployed people typically don’t have healthcare

Rates are different for everything

Car insurance - if you get in an accident then you will get higher insurance
