Label Claims Full Sentences Review

🏷 Explain and explore the label claims we discussed in class.
Label claims include terms such as “All Natural,” which means minimally processed with no synthetic ingredients; “Grassfed,” which refers to animals fed primarily forage and pasture but is loosely regulated; “Organic,” which has strict USDA standards requiring 100% organic feed, no antibiotics, and no hormones; “No Antibiotics” and “No Hormones,” which are based on production practices (though hormones are not legal in pork or poultry); “Free Range” or “Cage Free,” which indicate housing styles but are loosely defined; and “Humane Certified” or “Animal Welfare Certified,” which require third-party audits to verify animal welfare practices. Organic has one of the strictest definitions, while claims like sustainable, cage free, or free range are less strictly defined.
