Structure of the Uniform Test

The uniform test will consist of six sections, evaluated as follows:

  1. Vocabulary

    • Source: LE JS3B Unit 5 + CRP Unit 3
    • Marks: 10 marks
  2. Verb Forms

    • Source: Cambridge Units 9-10, 13-16 & F.1 prior knowledge
    • Marks: 8 marks
  3. Word Forms

    • Focus: Part of speech
    • Marks: 6 marks
  4. Indirect Questions

    • Source: Cambridge Unit 50
    • Marks: 8 marks
  5. Relative Clauses

    • Source: Cambridge Units 92-95
    • Marks: 10 marks
  6. Proofreading

    • Marks: 10 marks

Important Notes for Students

  1. The vocabulary list will not be included in the test paper; however, the first letter of some answers will be provided.
  2. Students may need to change the form of a word (e.g., tense, plurality, part of speech) to make a grammatical sentence.
  3. Marks will be awarded only for words taken from the prescribed vocabulary lists.
  4. A make-up session will be arranged for students who are absent on the day of the test.
    • Students who fail to attend the make-up session must submit a valid medical certificate to receive an estimated mark.
    • Absence from both the test and make-up session without a medical certificate will result in a ZERO mark.
