Mean - add all the number together and divide by how many there is.

Anomalous results are one that do not fit the pattern.

CALCULATE THE MEAN WITHOUT INCLUDING THE ANOMALOUS RESULT!!!!

Median - middle value of a set of numbers.

If we have an even set of numbers , then the median value is the mean of the central two numbers. For example

3,3,5,6,8,8,10,12

Median is 7

Add them together and divide by two.
