Container Requirements (CCPSP)

1. Cleanliness

• Containers must be clean before being filled.

2. Chemical and Physical Interaction

• Containers must not interact chemically or physically with the contents.

3. Protection

• Containers must protect the contents from loss or contamination.

4. Standards Compliance

• Containers must meet the requirements of USP 671 for Performance Testing.

5. Performance Testing

• Containers must meet the requirements of USP 87 for biological reactivity.
