Pacifism and peacemaking

Christians are either pacifists and therefore anti-war or they believe that war can be a necessary evil and support just wars. All christians should be peacemakers.

Some people say pacifism is the only choice now as we cannot go to war with the threats of WMD.

Jesus in his teachings says that everyone should be a peacemaker and work for peace in the world. Some take this as “we should never fight” and some people say that just war is working for peace and is necessary sometimes.
