Privacy
Choose location wisely and protect the respondents who take part in your research
Confidentiality
Protecting the information gathered from respondents from the public (release data in %)
Anonymity
Gathering info efficiently, aiming to prevent the identity of respondents to be known, research is not to be discussed in public or private circles (use a code instead of names)
Research must be based on knowledge of the work of others (Lit Review)
Benefits of the research project substantially outweighs the potential harm to participants
Participants must be able to make a voluntary, informed decision to participate and have the freedom to withdraw
Research is a public activity, conducted openly - transparency
