The Islamic world maintained creativity and innovation - despite increased fragmentation. Turkic people were beginning to dominate, especially after the decline of the Mongols
The Song Dynasty was also highly creative, innovative, and prosperous - despite being politically weak. THis innovation continued, for a while, under the Mongols.
The Christian world was also increasingly creative, mostly due to its intense competition with each other. The Christian was becoming more prosperous due to trade with the east.
African states would also develop- especially after the incision of Islam into the region through trade.
South/Southeast Asia also developed through Islam via trade. Hinduism and Buddhism would also remain dominant despite Islam.
In other words, the Islam Work, while fragmenting and losing political power, was increasing its cultural influence
