He had a profound favor for imagination and individuality, and had a fierce hate for materialism. He could be considered Marxist due to his heretical views of society and disliked the Church for oppressing(hegemony)
Emily Dickinson(mid 1800s) - isolated from the outside, influenced by father and her reclusive lifestyle, Dickinson explored themes of death, immortality, and nature through her unique and innovative use of form and syntax. Her poems are full of contradiction and interesting punctuation and diction choices.
