- Format: An 8x11 page trifold consisting of six panels.
- Theme: Communicate developmental expectations for preschool children.
Key Components of the Pamphlet
- Milestones:

- Utilize Erikson’s developmental stages and explain them in layman's terms, avoiding medical jargon for clarity.
- Appropriate Toys:
- Highlight toys suitable for preschool children that encourage development and play.
- Safety Precautions:
- Include information on safety measures important for the preschool age group.
- Nutrition:
- Discuss nutritional requirements for preschoolers, along with examples.
- Reference previous presentations, like the dietary plate example.
- Exercise and Play:
- Emphasize the role of physical activity in the developmental process.
- Dedicated Illness Panel:
- One panel must explain an illness that is appropriate to the age group and shouldn’t be a common ailment like cold or flu.
- Example: Discuss Crohn's disease, particularly as symptoms may first appear in teenagers, and provide clarity on symptoms to watch for.
- Explanation Guidelines:
- The illness panel requires a thorough explanation; other panels can combine topics or be tripled up as necessary.
