Tips
Mocha = coffee + chocolate, so it rings up as Latte + Dark Chocolate
On the cup just write M
Once you ring up a drink, write the abbreviation on the cup with a symbol of sort (to help baristas keep the drinks together when serving)
Ex. a customer orders a Vanilla Latte and a Cortado, you write V L # on one cup and CORT # on the other)
If someone asks for a flatwhite (which is just a latte with less foam), ring up LATTE and specify in the notes “fw”
On the cup, write L (fw)
To-Go orders use the plastic cups, write on those then call out the name to the baristas of the drink
For-here orders, write the drink name+addons on a sticky note and get the glass ready then call out the name of the drink
ALWAYS DOUBLE CUP AMERICANOS TO-GO
When taking for-here orders, always make sure to put a number with the order (that matches a table marker)
Put that number with one food order, and at one drink order)
If they pay with cash and tell you to keep the change, ring up the amount they gave you (ex. for a $14.50 order you get $20, ring up $20)
Then, for the change put it in the tip jar
Until it is fixed, some food items like The Proscuito on Baguette do not have a baguette option, so you click white toast and specify baguette
For To-Go orders, ask for a name to make it easier for baristas to call out the drink
