Activity 1: Silly Stories Circle

A fun storytelling activity where kids will create a group story with silly twists and turns.

Steps:

  • (2 min) Gather all participants in a circle.

  • (3 min) Explain the concept of building a story together using silly phrases.

  • (15 min) Start with a participant saying one sentence to begin the story.

  • (1 min) Each child adds a sentence, making it as silly and imaginative as possible.

  • (4 min) Once the story completes, one volunteer can recount the tale using humor and expression.

Activity 2: Wacky Talent Show

Each child showcases a unique talent or funny skill to entertain the group.

Steps:

  • (2 min) Explain the talent show idea and encourage participants to think about what they can showcase.

  • (2 min) Each child gets a moment to share their talent (like funny faces, dancing, or a quick joke).

  • (15 min) Rotate through participants quickly, ensuring everyone gets a chance.

  • (3 min) After everyone performs, conclude with applause and favoriting the funniest, wackiest moments.

Activity 3: Mystery Box Challenge

Kids will explore their creativity by describing mystery items and creating funny stories around them.

Steps:

  • (3 min) Prepare a box with various fun items (toys, props, etc.).

  • (5 min) Each child takes turns pulling an item from the box without showing it to others.

  • (12 min) Participants will describe the items to the group, making funny and imaginative guesses about what it could be.

  • (5 min) Wrap up by letting each child reveal their item, creating a comical story based on their descriptions.
