Opening Microsoft Word 2007

• Method 1: Double-click the Microsoft Word icon on the desktop.
• Method 2 (via Start Menu):
  • Click Start.
  • Point to All Programs.
  • Navigate to Microsoft Office.
  • Click Microsoft Word.

Screen Appearance & Resolution Factors

• Your window may look different from examples shown in tutorials.
• Display variations depend on:
  • The physical size of your monitor.
  • The current window size.
  • Screen resolution settings.
• Resolution effects:
  • Low resolution → fewer items fit onscreen; text & images appear larger.
  • High resolution → more items fit onscreen; text & images appear smaller.
