day 1 - Hangul: Vowels & Consonants (1 hour)

Study:

  • Watch a short video or lesson on Hangul (e.g. Talk To Me In Korean or HowToStudyKorean Lesson 0).

  • Learn the 10 basic vowels (ㅏ, ㅑ, ㅓ, ㅕ, ㅗ, ㅛ, ㅜ, ㅠ, ㅡ, ㅣ).

  • Learn the 14 basic consonants (ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, etc.).

Practice:

  • Write each letter 5–10 times on paper.

  • Pronounce them out loud while writing.

  • Try spelling simple syllables (e.g. 가, 나, 다, 마).
