  • Used a pipette to measure a known volume of alkali and transfer it to a conical flask

  • Add a few drops of suitable indicator

  • Add acid slowly from the burette, whilst swirling until the alkali is exactly neutralised.

  • Read the burette to the bottom of the meniscus

  • Repeat until 2 accurate results are within 0.1cm³ of each other. Take an average
