What is a Simile?
A simile is a way to compare two different things using the words like or as.
Similes help us create pictures in our minds by showing how one thing is like another thing.
Examples or Similes:
The snow is at white as cotton
She runs like the wind
His voice sounds as loud as a truck

What is a Metaphor?
A metaphor is a way to compare two different things not using “like” or “as.”
A metaphor says that one things is another thing.
