D: Argument Analysis — 1 question/40 points3 hours = 180 minutes. Save 30 minutes for going over the exam and last-minute edits. That leaves 150 minutes, 30 minutes/20 points. For part D that means 60 minutes, 30 minutes to read and take notes and plan what you will write and 30 minutes to write. Don’t rush past this part. If you finished one of the other sections faster, you will have even more time for the essay section. Keep track of your time so that you allot each section enough time.
