3) smooth muscle

  • It is the muscles of gallbladder and urinary bladder

  • It has an elongated cells

  • Involuntary


Function of muscles:

1) Movement of the skeleton

2) Contracting or beating of the heart

3) peristalsis (moving of ingesta)

4) movement of eyeball

5) erection of skin


Arrangement of muscles:

1) Parallel

2) fusiform

3) Unipinnate

4)Bipinnate

5) multipennate

6) convergent

7) circular


Rules in naming muscles:

1) size,shape

2) Muscles in the body of domestic animal can be classified into 5
