Parts of a Flower

Corolla:
Funnel-shaped structure made of fused petals.

Androecium (Male Part):

Types of Flowers
Classification Based on Floral Parts

Pollination and Fertilization

Fertilization:
Occurs after pollination when the pollen grain germinates, forming a pollen tube.
Pollen tube carries the male gamete to the ovule in the ovary, where fertilization takes place, resulting in a zygote.
