Prejudice and Discrimination

Definitions

Prejudice = Prejudging someone without evidence

Discrimination = Acting on prejudice and treating people differently because of tCahat

Direct discrimination = Acting against someone openly, e.g. violence, threats, abuse

Indirect discrimination =Treating someone differently, but the victim may be unaware, e.g. not employing or promoting them.
