What are some elements to autonomous vehicles?

  • Usage of sensors/cameras = they collect data to enable vehicle safety and to ensure that the vehicle stays in the right lane.

  • Usage of AI = advanced algorithms allow vehicles to adapt to different circumstances.

  • Usage of a radar = radars allow objects to be detected via radio waves and help to determine presence, distance, angle and velocity.

Where is data sourced from?

  • Mobile devices, credit/debit cards, digital cameras/sensors, applications, surveys, company sales, government departments

What are integrity checks?

An integrity check involves confirming data has not been tampered with and is not corrupt. Computers do this by using checksums (validation codes) and by providing hash code values.
